We’re pleased to share our new visual identity for the Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH) — a symbol of connection, collaboration, innovation and discovery.
The new signifier, inspired by molecular structures, reflects the Hub’s commitment to biomedical innovation that spans from the cellular level all the way to societal — bridging biomedical research with population health. With its concentric design and radiant inner glow, it represents both the strength of our multisectoral partnerships and the spark of discovery that drives our work.
“The new signifier reflects our mission of advancing biomedical research that connects the smallest building blocks of life to the broader well-being of the public and society,” said Dr. Michelle Wong, Executive Director of CIEBH and Senior Director of Research for the UBC Faculty of Medicine. “It captures what makes us unique: Our interdisciplinary partnerships and connections across B.C.’s life sciences ecosystem.”
Whether it’s advancing personalized cancer vaccines, responding to new pandemic pathogens, or building domestic biomanufacturing facilities, CIEBH is helping to greatly increase Canadian capacity to translate scientific discoveries into patient-ready treatments at rapid speed — saving more lives, sooner.
