Networking Day – Tuesday, May 20
Industry partners and academic collaborators are invited to join us for a full-day conference focused on celebrating our first year of progress, discussing future objectives, and sharing insights.
The program will begin with a motivating keynote address by Dr. Niranjan “Tex” Kissoon, a leader in the field of sepsis treatment. The agenda includes updates from AVENGER principal investigators and insightful presentations from our partner programs and industry. The day will close with a networking reception and dinner. Please check back for updates to the agenda.

Keynote Speakers
Dr. Niranjan “Tex” Kissoon is the current President of the Global Sepsis Alliance and a Professor at BC Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Kissoon is a recognized expert in the field of pediatric emergency and critical care and is involved in promoting sepsis guidelines such that appropriate treatments are given even in areas where there are limited resources.
Research Day – Wednesday, May 21
The second day of the meeting will bring together AVENGER researchers from across the country to share new data and discuss research plans. The agenda includes a poster session and presentations by the principal investigators.
